Body#

  • the texture is highlighted if the coffee does not have a medium body
  • words like delicate, elegant, tea-like, floral ➔ light bodied coffee
  • creamy, rich ➔ fuller bodied coffee
  • no texture words ➔ (generally) medium bodied coffee

Acidity#

  • fresh fruit words like berries, apple, pear ➔ reasonable amount of acidity
  • berry fruits, citrus fruits ➔ a lot of acidity
  • cooked fruit words like jammy or candied orange ➔ little acidity
  • no fruit words, instead caramel, treacle, nuts, chocolate ➔ very low acidity
  • tropical fruits like pineapple, mango, strawberry ➔ funky unusual flavors, which might be dry(=natural) processed
